The Reach: The Original
“The Reach” embodies the adventure of reaching for something when the outcome is intimidating or uncertain. It is a charcoal still life, of a hand reaching up through a pillar with a rope wrapped around it, and bull horns emerging out of the vase. The background is made up of a fine metal plate and a black curtain that is draped behind the plate. "The Reach” looks best when it is displayed with its sister still life “The Knot.” Together, these artworks strike this visual balance of certainty, through the ties people build in their lives, as seen in “The Knot”, and uncertainty when it's time to take a risk, as seen in “The Reach”.
This is the only signed and dated original charcoal still life of "The Reach" and comes with custom framing by the designer Frame Dimensions.
