Azalea Couture

My fashion illustration, “Azalea Couture,” rendered with digital painting, portrays a woman adorned in a dress made entirely out of giant pink flower petals. The floral material of the dress embodies the beauty and transcendence of earth with womanhood and girlhood. The flowing lines of the dress conveys a sense of movement and lightness, while the enormity of it showcases an image of boldness. My intention with this artwork is to represent the relationship between femininity and nature. Nature's delicate beauty and power mirrors femininity, as both possess an innate strength and resilience that belies their gentle appearance.
